Storing bows
Bows on gifts are like cherries on sundaes. They add that extra detail that makes the gift extra special. If you have dozens of extra bows that have gone unused, don't throw them out! You can save these pretty bows for future gifts. Here are some tips for storing bows:
- Small plastic drawers: You can find small plastic drawers at many large retail stores such as Target or Walmart. These will keep your bows together in one place. If you have dozens of bows, ribbons, and gift tags you can store everything in Rubbermaid storage bins. When you have finally used all of your bows you can reuse your Rubbermaid storage bins to store other items, such as clothing or toys. Or you can continue to add bows and other gift wrapping items to this container. If space is an issue, you can also find wall hanging storage bins to store items out of the way.
- A cardboard box: A cardboard box is perfect for holding all your extra ribbons and bows. Find one that is the appropriate size for the amount of ribbons and bows that you own.
- Paper or plastic bag: Throw all of your bows and ribbons in this bag. Then you can simply put this bag on a hanger and hang it in the back of your closet until the next time you need bows.
Bows are easy to lose but also easy to store. Try storing them together in one spot. Just remember where you store your bows so you don’t lose them.
