I use it on my motorcycle with my iphone, and when i use my iphone with my home stereo. It's a great product, well made. I love it. It's not really made for the iphone, just ipods, but works fine for me. You just can't answer the phone with it. Another thing i found is the volume was stuck low when i would first set it up and i couldn't get it to go any higher. I figured out that if i unplugged the headphone lead from it and repluggged it back in it would work fine. I haven't had it in the rain yet but was told it can take it. It seems really well made. gw

Originally, I had my ipod touch running through an "a/v with power" cable, which ran to the dock connector on my ipod. The connection was in the rear of my minivan, so I thought a remote would make for some easy control while driving. I bought the remote with the intention to connect it between the cable running to the a/v port and the ipod dock connector. I thought this to be the most elegant solution to my music needs, only one connection to deal with for power and audio. But this did not work. The remote passthru could still charge the ipod, but the remote would not function. I now have to use two separate cables. One, for audio, to run the a/v cable through the ipod headphone jack into the a/v hookup. Two, for power, I run the power cord from the outlet through the passthrough into the dock connector. Note that you do not need a power supply for small trips, as the remote can work on the ipod's own power. In the company's defense, this is the suggested usage, it even appears so in the picture. Otherwise, works as advertised and I am still very pleased. I am just suggesting what I believe to be a significant design improvement, a dock connection that could handle power as well as audio. Then it would be perfect.

I was told about the Scosche IPNRFC Wireless Car RF Remote for iPOD by a freind initially just to use for my motorcycle sound system.. But since I have had it I have found that it comes in handy for use on my riding mower while cutting the grass, also for my party speakers that I hook the iPOD to when I have a party at the house. I have also used it while using the iPOD on my Kareoke machine.. This has been the most usefull gadget I have purchased in quite some time. Thanks Chris Bennett
