It works great. I bought a "regular" sponge mop recently but got rid of it because it just doesn't work well.

I clean for a living and I take my mop with me. People ask why and I just tell them there's no comparison. I show how much grit and dust the mop can pick up and hold and then they get curious. The other great feature is how much water, liquid the mop will hold. If there is a drawback it is that the handle can slip if not tightened down good.

PVA makes a fine sponge mop that lets you clean, clean, clean those dirty floors as easy as pie! The mop comes with a blue sponge head on it that is a foot long and about 3 inches wide; and it's one of the best brands out there for sponge mops. The black plastic mop is lightweight and easy to carry. The wringing lever is within easy reach so that you can wring the dirty water and the dirt from the sponge mop into a bucket or whatever container you're using; and because of this lever you obviously don't have to reach down to the end of the mop to wring out the sponge. As Amazon notes, wring this mop once in clean water before using it on the floor or whatever surface you're cleaning. This helps get any particles of dust, blue residue from the mop sponge and anything else out of the sponge so that when you start cleaning the sponge is as clean as can be for your job. The sponge on the end of the mop is made in such a way that it scrubs the surface you're cleaning as well. Yes! Overall, I recommend this PVA sponge mop if you need one. The company also manufactures replacement sponges for that inevitable time when the sponge is worn out. Use it in good health!
