I have to agree with Vadim's comments as far as drawbacks go, but still feel that is by far the best SOHO manual punch available. The ease that it punches holes compared to every other of the many punches I've ever used and apparent long life far outweigh the minor drawbacks. It truly is one-finger operation to punch through 12 pieces of 20-pound bond paper although a couple sheets less seems to be a better amount. I've probably punched 6 to 8 reams of paper with it with no signs of wear and have never experienced a jam with the paper stuck around the punch like many other punches do with fewer sheets.

I bought it because I love the PaperPro staplers, so I had to give this a try as well. I'm impressed, but I think it needs a slight improvement. When punching paper the handle needs to be pressed down all the way, which then latches down. The handle then needs to be manually lifted to release it from the closed position. Not a major issue but feels like an oversight or like it was not tested by real users. It also doesn't have a good grip to lift it.) To summarize, great 3-hole punch, just could use slight handle change to make it so much more user friendly.
