I've been a fan of flair pens for decades and always prefer them to ballpoints or gels or rollerballs. They do have some problems though. The tips deform with use and age and become too "fat" and fail to produce a clean line. The "liquid" flair, which does not use an actual felt tip, solves these problems but provides the same immediate, responsive, flowing experience that I so enjoy in the original flair. The only problem I have with these pens is that they are difficult to find in retail outlets! There is also some confusion about the name as they were previously known as "Liquid Expresso"...
