I bought this 7-8 months ago. Used it to shred NO MORE than 40 pieces of paper and it jammed and died. Money wasted. Never again will I buy a Fellowes shredder or product

One cannot empty the basket without dumping confetti all about. After one year of light usage, just sufficient to mess up my office twice a month, the shredder completely quit with no advance warning. No squeaking, grinding or groaning. I checked the company's website for troubleshooting advice, and it suggested that I make certain the machine is plugged in. Thankfully Fellowes did not try to overwhelm me with technical jargon! I gather that the shredder is such a hopeless wonder that the company is basically at a loss for words when it comes to this wretched product.

Very good product for home use - I haven't had a jam yet - shreds into very small pieces.
