I have used regular and adhesive back laminate for years. Sometimes the adhesive back works much better in certain applications. It probably has more uses in the work place, but there are also many uses in your home. How many times have you seen a sign or instructions placed on a wall with scotch tape, thumb tacks or push pins? Adhesive back laminate is semi permanent and looks much neater. In the home you could use it for photos to fix it in a photo album. Laminating photos keeps them free from damage and yellowing for decades. Plus, they can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. How about using the adhesive back laminate for instructions or phone list to put on your desk? It will stay in place without getting pushed around or lost. You could use it on a picture or drawing and place it in a picture frame. I have tried doing this before and the picture always seems to move or slip unless you stick it to the cardboard backing. How about laminating your pets AKC registration? There are probably many uses for both types of laminate you might think of. Look around the house or work place for ideas. Laminate is the way to go in many cases. Try it.
