Like Post-It notes, Scotch Removable Tape is useful in those times when you want to temporarily attach something, and remove it later without doing any damage. Removable tape is opaque, and looks similar to Scotch Magic tape, but the adhesive is not very sticky, so it will not tear paper or other surfaces when it is removed. Because of its limited sticking strength, it does not support weight very well, which limits its use, however there are situations where the product works well. Removable tape can be applied on the top side of a photo or business card, to hold it in place, and later be removed without damaging the finish of the image. You can attach a check or form to a letter, instead of using a staple or paper clip. Tape down paper money enclosed in a card, so it does not fall out, or use it to temporarily seal an envelope. For the added sticking strength, the 3/4 inch width is recommended over the 1/2 inch. With its limited use, a little can go a long way. Look for it first, in your local office supply store.
